Teacher's musical skills in pre-school education

Quality music education, motivation and support from managers can affect the quality of music activities. Teachers are often discouraged due to the time-consuming and difficulties in acquiring good quality music education however, musical activities affect the overall development of a preschool child and their frequency and quality depend on the preschool teacher. When educating music in any form, the teacher encounters problems associated with the implementation of musical activities. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to draw attention to the importance of musical skills, abilities and knowledge of preschool teachers and to map the risks affecting musical activity in the educational offer in connection with the musical skills of the teacher. The research was conducted using a questionnaire survey among preschool teachers. In the evaluation of the research survey, it was found that the negative aspects of musical activity mainly affect newly qualified teachers. By gaining experience, these risks are mitigated or even lost.
Folk-song in pedagogy for pre-school children

The thesis concerns practical possibilities how to work with folk-songs not only for building-up the musical skills of pre-school children but also for the influence of their overall personal development. The theoretical part describes the folk-song development in RVP PV, particular musical activities working with songs and this part also mentions the devolepment of pre- school child(e)ren abilities and shortly describes the personality of pre-school pedagogue. The practical part concerns how to work with the folk-song in practice. The concrete example (set of songs) shows how is possible to develop children's personality via musical activities. Songs contain practial topics according to defined aims, which are realised in the concrete nursery school. Subsequently are recorded children's reactions at implemented activities. Musical activities in the development of graphomotor skills during the lateralization of preschool children

The subject of the thesis is the use of musical activities in the development of graphomotor skills of preschool children. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the problem of harmonization of music and movement at the level of gross and fine motor skills. It also deals with the issue of laterality and its distinctness. The practical part contains a detailed case study of a boy with a disadvantageous type of laterality and follows the development of his graphomotor skills during 15 lessons, the core of which are musical activities for the development of graphomotor skills of preschool children. I used multiple complementary research methods in the in-depth case study, which were participant observation, mother interview, open-ended questionnaire, family and personal history, and PPP report. The action research was conducted over a ten-month period, with the boys being 4 years and 3 months old at the start of the research. The practical part of the thesis analyses the action research data and evaluates the overall impact of specific musical activities in the development of preschool children's graphomotor skills.
Author's project of fairy tale capturing the development of musical abilities and personality of preschool children

The bachelor's thesis "The role of an author's fairy tale in the development of musical skills and personality of a preschooler" deals with the author's fairy tale for preschoolers the typical feature of which are based on the development of musical skills and of personality in the child's education. The work on this thesis also involved a qualitative research where ideas of musical trans-didactics were applied. The research was targeted at one experimental group. The thesis was written with respect to pedagogical adequacy, aesthetic expression and ethical principles in education. Music-movements activities in development of musicality at primary school-aged children

The diploma thesis is devoted to the development of music and musical movement activities at a younger school age. It consists of theoretical and practical part. The first parts acquaints the reader with the characteristics of younger school age and with the somatic- physiological, psychological and social characteristics of this period. It also describes the means that affect the child's musicality. This work lists the basic music-movement activities and their important aspects. The conclusion of this part is focused on expertise publications focusing on piano playing,where the authors in their works use movement elements or musical-movement activities to directly improve the influence of playing the piano. The practical part is based on theoretical knowledge. We chose a pedagogical experiment with the technique of one-group and we used piano compositions fot this purpose. The issue of qualitative research is focused on the connection of piano playing with musical- movement activities. There are objectives, research methods, the subject and its organization described in the research part. Using aids and games in the development of music reading in beginner piano lessons

The subject of this work is aids and their possible use in teaching music reading to beginner pianists. The theoretical part presents the methodology behind aids and games, the importance of music reading for the musical activities of the pupils and for the development of their musical skills. It also explains the importance of using games in piano lessons. In the second part of this work you can find the description of the aids, recommendations for activities (often games), suggestions that are based on author's experience etc. The third part describes the effect of using aids and games on a few pupils of different levels of piano skills.
The recorder and its use by a teacher in kindergarten

The subject of this thesis is the use of recorders in the hands of teachers in the implementation of the entire spectrum of musical activities in kindergarten. The theoretical part outlines the history of the recorder and its types. This part contains the musical development of a child aged 3 to 6 and its musical skills and abilities in this area, according to the Framework Education Program for Preschool Education and the curriculum formerly used. It also includes information on how current secondary pedagogical schools and higher vocational school of pedagogical are engaged in the education of future kindergarten teachers as for playing the recorder. The practical part describes action research in order to create a clear description of several musical units verified in practice. The first phase of the research covers the preparation and implementation of activities already published Mgr. Milena Kmentová, Ph.D. and MgA. Eva Nevoralová with final revision. Further, I will deal with developing and testing my own lessons in practice again with final reflection.
Development of children's musical creativity of the singing group at alementary school

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rozvojem hudební tvořivosti žáků pěveckého kroužku prvního stupně ZŠ. Věnuje se nejprve problematice obecné tvořivosti a jejímu významu a důležitosti pro život člověka. Dále podrobněji specifikuje téma tvořivého myšlení, od něhož odvozuje termín hudebně tvořivého myšlení. Neopomíjí nepostradatelnou roli učitele hudební výchovy, navrhuje systematický metodický postup a nabízí rovněž několik konkrétních typů cvičení vhodných k rozvoji hudební tvořivosti žáků. V rámci výzkumné části pak zkoumá a porovnává úroveň rozvoje tvořivých schopností žáků pěveckého kroužku prvního stupně ZŠ v Čerčanech (ve školním roce 2017/2018 a 2018/2019) v souvislosti s osvojovanými písněmi (jejich obsahy a hudebně výrazovými prostředky). Cílem práce bylo především potvrzení skutečnosti, že výuka s využitím hudebně tvořivých prvků má zásadní vliv na rozvoj hudebních schopností žáků - včetně schopností tvořivých.
